Bollinger Shipyards is seeking an experienced Structural Designer to join its team.

A Structural Designer develops detailed structural drawings based on applicable specifications and work order instructions, ensures that the design product and engineering deliverables conform to engineering design and customer specifications, prepares BOM (Bills of Material), and consults with vendors on project related activities. Also coordinates design criteria with engineering, manufacturing, tooling, material, and planning group such as ease of manufacture, availability of materials, and contractual specifications.

The requirements of the position are as follows:

• A minimum of 5 years of structural design experience is required within the shipbuilding industry utilizing AutoCAD and 3D modeling (Ship Constructor preferred).
• Candidate must have working knowledge of USCG, ABS, SOLAS and other government shipbuilding standards (i.e. NVR, NAVSEA, MIL).
• Basic computer experience using Microsoft Office products (i.e. MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook) is required.
• Must have excellent oral and written communication skills in addition to the ability to work in a team environment with minimal supervision.

Bollinger Shipyards is seeking an experience Electrical Engineer to join our team.

The ideal candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, and have a minimum of 3 years of experience, preferably in marine field. Overall, individual must be able to perform engineering design and oversee the manufacture, construction and installation of shipboard electrical systems specifically in the areas of power distribution, automation, control systems and electronics. Responsibilities will include the integration and development of calculations, system level diagrams, I/O schedules, functional design diagrams and termination drawings in addition to supporting all production and testing activities. Must also be able to coordinate and integrate with primary system and multiple subsystem manufactures to ensure proper and complete interface among all systems. Candidate must be self-motivated and exhibit excellent communication and leadership skills. Familiarity with CFR, ABS, NVIC, USCG, MIL-STD and other applicable regulations are required.

The position will report to the CAO and will oversee the organization’s technology-related strategies and initiatives, plans for the company's technology needs and addresses any tech-related problems. The role identifies and challenges the company to move forward with advances in technology and methods of processing and managing information. The Director serves as a leader and innovator for the company's information technology department. Other functions of the position include the following:

• Defines and leads the execution of technology and data strategy, as well as managing the day-to-day operation of governance, innovation, security, compliance, operations, infrastructure, applications, data and user support functions within the organization.
