POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking a dedicated Accountant Intern who is currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in Accounting or Finance. This opportunity is ideal for students who are eager to apply their academic knowledge in a professional, real-world environment.
REQUIREMENTS
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in Accounting or Finance
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
SKILLS
- Basic proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience with ERP or HRIS is a plus
- Strong interpersonal skills, problem-solving abilities, a proactive attitude, and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Learn how the shipbuilding business operates and how Finance and Legal support it
- Build foundational understanding of systems, data, and governance
- Contribute to meaningful Finance work tied to system transformation and financial operations
- Build data analysis and business acumen
- Understand how the Legal department protects and enables the business
- Gain exposure to contracts, compliance, and risk management
- Connect insights from Finance and Legal experiences
- Deliver an integrated project with practical recommendations
