1st Class Outfitter
Location: Lockport, LA
Position Overview: A 1st Class Outfitter installs final finishing parts on aluminum and steel frame boats. The ideal candidate will have experience in marine outfitting and the ability to perform layout, cutting, measuring, and fitting processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install final finishing parts on aluminum and steel frame boats.
- Perform layout, cutting, measuring, and fitting processes accurately.
- Comprehend and interpret blueprints, sketches, and templates.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of marine outfitting experience.
- Ability to successfully pass a hands-on crafts test demonstrating proficiency in layout, cutting, measuring, and fitting processes.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and templates.
Skills:
- Proficiency in layout, cutting, measuring, and fitting processes.
- Strong understanding of marine outfitting techniques and best practices.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and precision in workmanship.
- Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with other team members and departments.
