POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking a dedicated Logistics Program Manager with at least 2 years of program management experience in a shipbuilding, engineering, or related manufacturing field. The candidate will determine program objectives, create schedules, manage program budgets, prepare presentations, and identify areas of improvement to meet logistics products and schedules.
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of 2 years of program management experience in a shipbuilding, engineering, or related manufacturing field
- Strong understanding of contract and specification knowledge
- Experience with US Army, US Navy, or US Coast Guard new construction and maintenance programs, purchasing, acquisitions, or contracting is a plus
SKILLS
- Proficient in MS Office applications (i.e., MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint)
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Interface with US Army, US Navy, or US Coast Guard personnel on contract compliance, logistics support, and other program-related matters
- Determine program objectives, create schedules, manage program budgets, and prepare presentations
- Identify areas for improvement to ensure the meeting of logistics products and schedules
- Monitor the assigned program to ensure that implementation and prescribed activities are carried out in accordance with specified objectives
- Coordinate and schedule all aspects of assigned projects among various disciplines such as provisioning, technical manuals, training, and supply
