POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking a dedicated Environmental/Safety Intern who is currently a junior or senior enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Engineering, or related field. This opportunity is ideal for students pursuing a degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Engineering, or a related field who are eager to apply their academic knowledge in a professional, real-world environment.
REQUIREMENTS
- Currently a junior or senior enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Engineering, or related field
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
SKILLS
- Basic proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Basic understanding of workplace safety and environmental regulations
- Familiarity with environmental and safety compliance documentation
- Ability to review and organize technical and regulatory records
- Accurate data entry and basic reporting
- Attention to detail
- Basic research skills
- Document control and version management
- Ability to interpret and compare written procedures and reports
- Strong interpersonal skills, a proactive attitude, and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct general research and data organization for Safety and Environmental initiatives
- Review and compare written safety and environmental programs
- Support maintenance and review of the online SDS system and conduct SDS reviews for regulatory reporting
- Evaluate paint/blasts reports
- Support waste tracking and environmental reporting activities
- Provide administrative and documentation support to Safety and Environmental teams
