POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking a dedicated CuNi Pipe Fitter with at least 1 year of CuNi (Copper Nickel) pipe fitting experience. The candidate will perform layout, fabrication, installation, testing, and repair of pipe systems with a particular focus on Copper Nickel (CuNi) piping. The ideal candidate will have the expertise to meet production and quality standards in a fast-paced environment.
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of 1 year of CuNi (Copper Nickel) pipe fitting experience
- Pass a hands-on pipe fitter test by
- Creating a square cut on a CuNi pipe using a cutting grinder (Metabo)
- Applying a bevel to the pipe using a grinder with a sanding disc
- Cutting the opposing end of the pipe to saddle a pipe of the same size at a 90-degree angle
SKILLS
- Strong understanding of pipe fitting techniques and best practices
- Proficiency in using tools and equipment related to pipe fitting
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Layout, fabricate, and install CuNi piping systems according to technical specifications
- Test and repair pipe systems as needed to ensure proper functionality and compliance
- Use precision tools and equipment, including grinders and sanders, to prepare pipes for installation
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet project deadlines and quality expectations
