POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking a dedicated Marine Electrician with at least 5 years of experience working as a Maintenance Electrician in a commercial or industrial setting. The candidate will install and repair wiring, fixtures, and equipment for all electrical services for the facility, including cranes, air compressors, and faulty mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components of machines and equipment.
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working as a Maintenance Electrician in a commercial or industrial setting
- Good working knowledge of electrical systems operations
- Proficiency with job-related tools, gauges, meters, and other equipment
SKILLS
- Ability to read and interpret standard construction drawings and specifications
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Excellent understanding of electrical systems and components
- Good communication skills to effectively work with other team members and departments
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Install and repair wiring, fixtures, and equipment for electrical services on vessels and in the shipyard
- Maintain and troubleshoot cranes, air compressors, and other mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components
- Read and interpret standard construction drawings and specifications
- Utilize job-related tools, gauges, meters, and other equipment to ensure systems are operating correctly
