PROGRAM DETAILS

This program offers participants an hourly wage for 8-hour workdays, Monday through Friday. A potential pay raise will be evaluated after the successful completion of the program. The full program spans over 14 weeks beginning with technical training then transitions to on-site immersion at Bollinger Shipyards. Participants will also receive a comprehensive benefits package which includes medical, dental, vision, life insurance, vacation pay, and paid holidays.

In just over three months, you’ll go from newcomer to job-ready tradesperson—with hands-on training, real-world experience, and a paycheck the whole way through. No loans or wasted time. Just a direct path to a stable, skilled career in shipbuilding.

Yes! Throughout the 14-week program, you will be paid an hourly wage for 8 hours a day, Monday through Friday. After successfully completing the program, a potential pay raise will be evaluated.

Applicants must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or GED. No prior experience is required to apply.

It is a 14-week program beginning with technical training at MGCCC or Fletcher Technical College then transitions to on-site immersion at Bollinger Shipyards.
