POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking a dedicated Working Leaderman (Electrical Maintenance) with at least 8 years of marine electrical and/or 5 years of marine electrical supervisory experience with resource planning/scheduling. The candidate will be responsible for leading his/her craft in the successful implementation of production activities as it relates to associated electrical maintenance and/or repair functions in addition to performing craft specific operations.
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of 8 years of marine electrical and/or 5 years of marine electrical supervisory experience with resource planning/scheduling
SKILLS
- Basic knowledge of AC/DC theory, electric motors/controls, power generation, control, and distribution
- Ability to communicate effectively and work well with other supervisors
- Strong focus on quality, production, safety and environmental aspects of work being performed
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Must be familiar with standard marine practices and general specifications for construction
- Must be able to perform electrical troubleshooting and have the ability to read and interpret codes, specifications, and blueprints
- Able to coordinate with subcontractors and vendors
- Must be familiar with Facility electrical maintenance needs for electrical, HVAC, welding machines, pumps, motors. Installs and repairs wiring, fixtures, and equipment for all electrical services aboard vessels and shipyard facilities
