Candidate must have at least 6 months of experience in performing purchasing and warehouse activities, preferably within a shipyard and/or fabrication setting. Must be knowledgeable in the materials, equipment and tools used in shipyard repair and construction along with being able to receive materials and resolve discrepancies. Must possess good communication and organizational skills in addition to being able to supervise warehouse personnel. Basic knowledge of computers and standard software is required (i.e. MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook). Supervisory or management experience is prefered, while Oracle experience is a plus.
