POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking a dedicated Project Coordinator with at least 6 months of experience performing Project Coordination functions within an industrial setting, 1 year of Mechanical experience, OR a Bachelor’s degree in Maritime Management. The candidate will aid in providing job costs and billing amounts to customers and evaluate the scope of work to be performed on projects.
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of 6 months of experience performing Project Coordination functions within an industrial setting, 1 year of Mechanical experience, OR a Bachelor’s degree in Maritime Management
- Shipyard experience and/or familiarity with USCG and ABS rules/regulations are a plus
SKILLS
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word and Excel)
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers, managers, outside representatives, and subcontractors
- Basic blueprint reading skills
- Knowledge of project coordination best practices
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Evaluate the scope of work to be performed on projects
- Communicate needed repairs with internal and external customers
- Aid in the estimation of quotes, survey projects, and proposals
- Provide job costs and billing amounts to customers
- Coordinate with customers, managers, outside representatives, and subcontractors
- Ensure projects are completed within scope, budget, and timeline
