Bollinger is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) to join its team. The Welding Inspector will be responsible for ensuring that all welding activities are performed in accordance with industry standards and specifications. The successful candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of welding processes and techniques.
Requirements:
- 2 years of experience as a welding inspector
- Must hold a current Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification
- Experience or familiarity with non-destructive testing (NDT) methods such as ultrasonic, magnetic particle, dye penetration and radiographic testing is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to read and interpret welding procedures and specifications
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects in welds
- Ability to recommend modifications to welding processes and procedures in order to meet manufacturing goals
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
