POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking a dedicated Construction Contracts Administrator with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration or related field. The candidate will support and assist management and program management with various aspects of contract management, development, and administration with professional service contractors and equipment and material suppliers.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor of Science in Business Administration or related field
- Working experience using and interpreting Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)
- Knowledge of US Government, USCG, and ABS forms for submittals during a project
- Experience in the shipbuilding and/or steel manufacturing industry is preferred
SKILLS
- Advanced knowledge of computer software, specifically Microsoft Excel spreadsheets and Microsoft Word documents
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the PM group in negotiating various elements of contracts with suppliers and vendors
- Assist Legal and PM departments in reviewing proposals, compliance requirements, and regulations
- Provide administrative support in contract development and management
- Ensure contracts are in compliance with applicable regulations and company policies
- Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and internal departments to facilitate contract execution and management
- Monitor contract performance and ensure timely delivery of goods and services
- Maintain accurate records of contract documents and correspondence
