Candidate must be able to motivate, direct and supervise all activities of the warehouse team and the safety maintenance technician which includes training to ensure quality, safety and contractual objectives are met. The Warehouse Supervisor is required to have strong knowledge of warehousing functions, including receiving, inspection, picking, packing, packaging, storage and timely shipping of customer goods in addition to planning and organizing activities for special requirements such as hazmat, climate controlled, fragile & oversized products. Must also be able to communicate, coordinate and troubleshoot with internal customers to fulfill customer contracts. Candidate must have five (5) years’ experience in a high-volume fast-paced warehouse environment and a minimum of three (3) years in a supervisory role. Proficiency in using standard software (i.e. MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook) is required. Knowledge and/or experience in OSHA safety practices/procedures, government contracts, and/or using MS Access is a preferred.
