- Basic Function: Monitors subcontractors’ performance, schedule and deliverables to ensure that implementation and prescribed activities are carried out in accordance with specified objectives and all contractual obligations.

- Responsibilities: Responsible for coordinating subcontract efforts as it relates to the production function which includes schedule coordination, subcontract progressing, change order management and all associated integration within core construction
administration and management. Coordinates and schedules all aspects of assigned projects among the various disciplines such as engineering, procurement, production, supply chain, etc. Develops mitigation solutions to ensure total construction effort is maintained according to plan. Addresses daily personnel, equipment and facility issues in addition to developing viable solutions and remedial actions.
Requirements: Minimum of Eight (8) years of experience in a shipbuilding or related manufacturing field setting OR five (5) years of experience in shipbuilding and marine outfitting, propulsion, auxiliaries and/or electrical/electronic integration aboard vessels. Must have direct experience in resource planning and scheduling in addition to performing labor estimates and developing associated manpower schedules. Basic knowledge in using MS Office applications (i.e. MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Power Point), strong verbal and written communication skills, problem-solving ability and capability of multi-tasking are required. Also, must have intermediate knowledge of USCG, regulatory, and customer requirements in addition to craft specific processes and techniques.
