Senior Provisioning Analyst (Remote Hybrid Opportunities Available)

A Senior Provisioning Analyst will be responsible for preparing and producing provisioning technical documentation in accordance with Company, military and commercial specifications and standards. The analyst organizes and prepares specified provisioning documentation including compilation/analysis of source material. Responsibilities include coordinating the development, editing, composition, production, and delivery of assigned provisioning technical documentation in accordance with applicable specifications/standards and other requirements, as well as coordinating required ancillary services and interdepartmental activities.

 

Qualifications

The candidate will possess at least (5) five years of experience in the shipbuilding logistics support or related field.

The candidate will possess the ability to understand and apply principles, concepts, practices, standards and knowledge of industry and company practices for the development of logistics products.

The candidate should be task oriented while remaining aware of additional logistics functions/activities within Global Sustainment.

The candidate will have the ability to review and analyze engineering drawings/parts lists.

The candidate will be well versed and have hands on experience with the documentation requirements of MIL-STD-1552, MIL-STD-1388-2B, MIL-PRF-49506, and GEIA-STD-0007 Logistics Data Products, ISO 10007, ANSI/EIA 649A, and MIL-HDBK-61A standards.

Proficient in Microsoft Word, Access, Excel and Outlook.

A strong understanding of equipment/system Ship Work Breakdown Structure (SWBS) and Hierarchical Structure Codes (HSCs).

Responsibilities

Support the Logistics team in the development of various logistics products for the Navy, USCG, Army, etc.

The successful candidate will process information under the supervision of the Provisioning and Configuration Supervisor, creating Provisioning Technical Document (PTD) packages in support of Commercial and Government Contracts.

Reviews ship’s drawings in order to assist in creation and management of Configuration Status Accounting (CSA) and Configuration Management (CM).

Support in the analysis of engineering drawings to determine the final parts to be provisioned

The candidate will be required to research parts data to identify all contract required data elements for provisioned parts, using on-line reference databases (WebFLIS, Haystack, etc.) and other automated and manual tools as necessary

The candidate will develop and load provisioning data utilizing the Interactive Computer Aided Provisioning System (ICAPS), MERLIN, Slicwave and/or PowerLOG-J, for the generation of various LSA reports.

Coordinates analysis and receipt of Vendor Furnished Information (VFI) in support of Engineering Data for Provisioning (EDFP) and Provisioning Parts Lists (PPL) requirements.

Works overtime as required to meet deadlines.

Participates in Shipboard validations.
