POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking a dedicated Provisioning and Configuration Bootcamp Trainee with a high school diploma or equivalency (i.e. General Education Diploma). The candidate will learn the necessary skills to become an entry level ILS professional.
REQUIREMENTS
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalency (i.e. General Education Diploma)
- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age
- Capable of doing research and contacting manufacturers for information pertaining to equipment and systems preferred
- Ability to perform shipboard verification and validation preferred
SKILLS
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Must be self-motivated
- Good human relations and people skills
- Strong communication skills, including written and oral communication
- Basic knowledge of MS Office applications (MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel, etc.)
- Basic knowledge of computers and computer software
- Able to continuously work with detailed information
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare and produce provisioning technical documentation and logistics support documentation in accordance with Company, military and commercial specifications and standards
- Organize and prepare specified provisioning documentation including compilation/analysis of source material
- Coordinate the development, editing, composition, production, and delivery of assigned provisioning technical documentation in accordance with applicable specifications/standards
- Coordinate required ancillary services and interdepartmental activities
- Record and report the change process of Configuration Status Accounting (CSA) data ensuring information needed to manage configuration item identification for marine vessels
