Responsibilities include tracking progress on projects (i.e. budgeted man-hours, labor, etc.), identifying project issues, coordinating project scope changes/contingency plans, and continually keeping station supervisors informed of project status. The ideal candidate must be capable of learning to use our planning and operations. Should have applicable experience in resource planning and scheduling. Should also have basic knowledge of shipbuilding activities with standard marine practices and general specifications for construction/repair. Must be able to communicate effectively and work well with other supervisors. Also, must have a strong focus on quality, production, safety and environmental aspects of work being performed, in addition to having a minimum of 5 years’ experience preforming production craft supervision.
