Job Title: Project Manager
Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and oversee assigned projects, ensuring the successful fulfillment of contractual obligations in collaboration with Senior Production Management. This role serves as the primary point of contact with customers and directs all engineering, purchasing, scheduling, production, and subcontract work according to project contracts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage assigned projects to meet contractual obligations and company goals.
- Serve as the main contact for customers, addressing concerns and updates.
- Coordinate with engineering, purchasing, scheduling, production, and subcontract teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Collaborate with Senior Production Management to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Oversee and direct project timelines, resources, and quality standards.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Strong management and leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams at all levels.
- Extensive knowledge of contract administration and regulatory policies.
- Ability to establish and meet goals, working effectively both independently and within a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other project management software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A solid technical background is preferred.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in project management within an industrial setting.
- Experience with commercial new construction or conversion projects is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience managing administrative and production departments.
- Knowledge of engineering project management, shipbuilding practices, and marine construction.
- College degree or equivalent coursework in Production Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
