The Program Manager (Bids & Proposals) is responsible for the direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of specific programs such as industry studies, proposals, etc. in ensuring consistency with the Company’s strategy, commitments, and goals. Responsibilities include facilitating correspondence in accordance with engineering/production processes and procedures, plans and schedules program timelines, priorities, resources including presenting reports defining program progress, problems, and solutions. Leads team through the proposal writing process and support proposal writing activities, monitoring proposals and cost estimates. The ideal candidate must have at least five (5) years of program management experience in a manufacturing environment including a bachelor of science degree within a business or related field. Must have applicable experience in resource planning and scheduling with problem solving skills. Excellent communication skills (written and oral communication) including proficiency in using MS Office applications are required. Knowledge in contract law and/or Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) is preferred.
