POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking a dedicated HSE Trainer / Teacher with at least six months of working experience in the HSE field. The candidate will conduct HSE inspections, recognize hazards, perform HSE meetings, and provide safety training/orientation.
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of six months of working experience in the HSE field
- Experience working within an industrial or manufacturing setting; shipyard experience is a plus
- Oracle experience is a plus
- Teaching or training experience is a plus
SKILLS
- Ability to conduct effective HSE meetings and training sessions
- Ability to conduct effective HSE meetings and training sessions
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to recognize hazards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, etc.)
- Highly motivated with strong organizational skills
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform HSE meetings to promote safety awareness and compliance
- Perform safety training and orientation to employees
- Conduct HSE inspections and recognize hazards
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations
