POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking a dedicated Entry-Level Safety Representative with at least 6 months of working experience in the HSE field or an Associate degree in Safety Technology, Environmental Science, or equivalent. The candidate will be responsible for conducting HSE inspections, recognizing hazards, performing HSE meetings, and maintaining the facility’s handling, storage, and disposal of waste. The role also includes managing air, water, and dredge permits to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
REQUIREMENTS
- Must have six months of working experience in the HSE field or an Associate degree in Safety Technology, Environmental Science, or equivalent
- Oracle experience is a plus
- Bilingual is a plus
SKILLS
- Highly motivated with strong organizational skills
- Proficiency in using MS Office applications (MS Excel, MS Word, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to recognize hazards.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to conduct effective HSE meetings
- Knowledge of environmental regulations and compliance requirements
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment
