POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking a dedicated Electronic Technician with at least 5 years of experience as an Electronic Technician. The candidate will lay out, build, test, install, troubleshoot, repair, and modify electrical and electronic components, parts, equipment, and systems.
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Electronic Technician
- In-depth knowledge of electrical/electronic systems and components, including command and Fire & Smoke Detection Systems
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, schematics, and other electrical/electronic technical documentation
- Familiarity with applicable commercial and Government specifications and codes
- Comprehensive knowledge of component/system start-up, testing, troubleshooting, and repair
SKILLS
- Proficiency in working with electrical and electronic systems and components
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation accurately
- Knowledge of safety standards and regulations related to electrical and electronic systems
- Ability to perform detailed testing and troubleshooting tasks
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lay out, build, test, install, troubleshoot, repair, and modify electrical and electronic components, parts, equipment, and systems
- Read and interpret drawings, schematics, and other electrical/electronic technical documentation
- Ensure compliance with applicable commercial and Government specifications and codes
- Perform component/system start-up, testing, troubleshooting, and repair
- Work with command and Fire & Smoke Detection Systems
