The Aluminum Tack Welder plays a crucial role in supporting ship fitters by providing essential tools and assisting in various tasks as directed, which may include tacking, grinding, and other assigned duties.
Position Requirements:
- A minimum of 3 months of tack welding experience.
- Successful demonstration of the ability to pass a hands-on (GMAW-P) tacker T-joint test in both vertical and overhead positions, with the vertical position tack welded using uphill progression.
- Familiarity with basic welding or fitting processes is preferred.
