The Accuracy Control Technician will need to have proficiency in operating FARO Laser Tracker and/or Total Station equipment to ensure precise measurements and accuracy in various projects. The Accuracy Control Technician will play a critical role in maintaining quality standards and ensuring the precision of our products or projects, set up, and configure measurement systems, ensuring they are properly aligned and calibrated prior to use.
The ideal candidate will troubleshoot equipment malfunctions or inaccuracies, implementing corrective actions, maintain and update equipment calibration schedules, ensuring that all tools are properly maintained and calibrated to industry standards and will generate detailed reports and documentation of measurement results, providing clear and concise information to stakeholders.
The candidate must have two (2) years of proven work experience in operating FARO Laser Tracker and/or Total Station equipment and the ability to Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications. Must be able to use basic computer software such as MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc. A Technical certification and or degree preferred.
Must be available to work off-hours, including (on occasion) nights and weekends. Some travel is expected <10%.
