POSITION OVERVIEW 

We are seeking a dedicated Structural Welder with at least 6 months of Flux Core Arc Welding (FCAW) 3G/4G structural welding experience. The candidate will weld together structural metal components as specified by blueprints, work orders, or oral instructions.

REQUIREMENTS 

  • Minimum of 6 months of FCAW 3G/4G structural welding experience
  • Pass a hands-on FCAW 3G/4G structural welding test with the 3G position welded with downhill progression and 4G welded entirely in the overhead position

SKILLS 

  • Proficiency in structural welding techniques
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work orders
  • Knowledge of safety standards and practices related to welding

RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Weld together structural metal components as specified by blueprints, work orders, or oral instructions
