Tradition

For most of the last sixty years along the banks of Bayou Lafourche, a tradition involving the skills of boatbuilding has been passed down from generation to generation. Bollinger Shipyards has remained true to this heritage through its commitment to tradition, innovation, quality and service.

Founded in 1946 with a minimal initial investment, Bollinger Shipyards today proudly operates thirteen facilities, strategically located through South Louisiana and Texas with direct access to the Gulf of Mexico. Bollinger's various locations serve our customers well in providing maximum service in virtually every aspect of the marine industry. Having specialized facilities and dealing in both new construction and repair, allows Bollinger Shipyards to provide full services from engineering design to lifecycle sustainment of a vessel.

As leaders in technical training programs and school-to-work initiatives, Bollinger's dedication to a strong public education system builds and prepares a workforce for the future within our communities. Through our family tradition, the Bollinger family stands committed to building a world-class workforce that services the needs of our customers and the work ethics that mirror the family values established by our founder.

Spanning over 60 years of experience and customer service, and operating with several generations of the Bollinger family currently serving within the company, Bollinger Shipyards still embodies the old-fashioned qualities of value, honesty, and service, remaining true to the days when a man's word was his bond.
