Bollinger Shipyards offers scholarship programs for eligible full time employees and their dependents.


Bollinger Shipyards, Inc. active full time employee's children, grandchildren, and step children are eligible to apply for the following high school graduate scholarships. Updated scholarship applications, eligibility requirements and additional information pertaining to the scholarships can be obtained from the website or at your local Human Resources Department in February of each year. ONE (1) $1000.00 scholarship will be awarded to a graduating high school senior child, step-child or grandchild of an active full time employee. The scholarship will be distributed at $250 a semester and will be awarded to a qualifying candidate planning to attend a two year community or technical college of their choice.

 

FOUR (4) $500 scholarships will be awarded to qualifying candidates of active full time Bollinger Texas City employees attending College of the Mainland upon completion of study.

 

TWO (2) $1000 scholarships will be awarded to a two or four year college and TWO (2) $1000 scholarships will be awarded to candidates attending a technical college. Children of Bollinger employees qualify for these scholarships due to company membership in HCIA.

 

TWO (2) $1000 scholarships and ONE (1) $5000 scholarship will be awarded each year to a qualifying senior attending a Louisiana two or four year college program. ONE (1) $1000 scholarship will be awarded each year to each of the three local technical schools. Children of Bollinger employees qualify for these scholarships due to company membership in SCIA.

 

ONE (1) $2000 scholarship to a Terrebonne, Lafourche, St. Mary or Assumption Parish student attending Nicholls State University, ONE (1) $250 one time scholarship to a student attending Fletcher Technical Community College and ONE (1) $250 one time scholarship to a student attending Louisiana Technical College. Children of Bollinger employees qualify for these scholarships due to company membership in BIG.
